What We Care About
FRESH INGREDIENTS
Only fresh raspberries and carefully chosen botanicals — no shortcuts, no fake flavours.
CRAFTMANSHIP
Small-batch spirit making, with every step overseen for exceptional quality.
SUSTAINABILITY
We reuse, recycle, and rethink — from upcycled raspberries to responsible sourcing.

THE MAKING OF A PINK PIONEER
It all started when original founder, Stephen Marsh, realised that wine and beer no longer agreed with him.
Inspired by a love of foraging and making liqueurs, he turned to gin — and after working through a whole fruit bowl, raspberries delivered the best flavour and a natural pink hue.
After friends convinced him to go pro, Pinkster was born in 2013 — growing from homemade batches to a firm British gin favourite.
In 2024 the brand was sold to the Cambridge Drinks Collective Ltd; headed by Angus Hinton and Amy Norris. Stephen had first employed Angus as a school leaver back in 2015 and Amy had been his first sales hire in 2014. Stephen has returned as a consultant.

Sustainability at the Heart of Pinkster
At Pinkster, sustainability isn't just a nice-to-have — it's baked into everything we do.
From our ingredients to our packaging, we believe in making gin that’s good for the planet as well as the palate.
Our new bottle is the culmination of a two year plan to remove 75% of the carbon cost from our packaging. It looks pretty good too.
Here is everything we do to be sustainable and emit as few carbon emissions as possible.

Local Sourcing
We work with British growers to source fresh raspberries and botanicals close to home. Wherever possible, we keep our ingredients local — cutting transport miles, supporting rural communities, and making Pinkster a true product of the British countryside. We use supermarket rejects where possible to prevent waste.
FRUIT WITH A SECOND LIFE
After our fresh raspberries work their magic infusing Pinkster Gin, they aren’t thrown away. Instead, we upcycle them into a delicious range of foodie treats — jams and lower alcohol products and more — cutting food waste and extending the life of our ingredients
SMALL BATCHES
Pinkster is proudly crafted in small batches, keeping our gin personal and our footprint low. By staying small, we protect the quality you taste, conserve precious resources, and tread as lightly as possible on the beautiful countryside we call home.
Responsible Packaging
Every bottle of Pinkster Gin is made with recyclable glass and packaged using eco-conscious materials. From production to delivery, we are committed to reducing waste, protecting resources, and making sustainability a part of every Pinkster pour.
Designing Pinkster Responsibly

2013
Our original bottle. A striking, but simple, rectangular bottle. With clean lines and a minimalist two-tone label it stood out from the crowd. We loved it.

2015
We discovered that our almost iconic bottle had a carbon cost of 1.2kg and couldn’t in all conscience continue with it. Whilst we searched for the right long term option, the supply was interrupted in the turmoil in the glass market following the Ukraine invasion, we moved to a bottle with almost 700g carbon cost saving 43%

2022
We then found another temporary bottle made with recycled glass and a carbon cost of 300g. We have reduced the carbon cost of our packaging by 75% in less than two years.

2025
The launch of our beautiful new permanent bottle that is made with recycled glass and also has a carbon cost of 300g; proving that you can do the right thing by the planet and look good! With a bespoke two-tone stopper and a label that reflects the fresh British raspberries upon which the renowned Pinkster reputation for outstanding flavour rests.
